Description
The NU-X B-8 is a 2.4GHz instrument wireless system comprising a floor pedal receiver and a rechargeable transmitter pack. Audio is encoded at 48kHz/24-bit for clean, detailed signal transmission, and latency is adjustable via a variable buffer — prioritising either lower latency (as low as 2.5ms) or higher reception stability depending on the environment. Wireless range is up to 50 metres on the licence-free 2.4GHz band.
The receiver pedal is powered by the included 9V DC adaptor and doubles as a charging dock for the transmitter. The transmitter can also be charged independently via USB. A full-colour multi-function display is built in, along with a tuner offering guitar, chromatic, and strobe modes. A custom GIF or animation can be set as the start-up screen.
A switchable Cable Tone function adds the tonal character of a long guitar cable for players who prefer that response. A send/return effects loop allows external pedals to be inserted into the signal chain. Output options include a standard 1/4" jack to amplifier or a balanced XLR DI output to a mixing console. An adjustable boost function is available for driving amps or effects with a stronger signal.
