The Zona Sulis Custom "Petrol Blue Metallic" is a strikingly original handmade electric guitar, crafted in Devon with an uncompromising focus on tone, feel, and character. Featuring a reclaimed douglas fir body, it’s finished in petrol blue metallic nitrocellulose, accented by light ageing and a light relic for a naturally worn-in aesthetic. The cherry neck is carved in a comfortable D/C profile, paired with a figured walnut fretboard, stainless steel frets, and custom fret markers, offering exceptional playability and durability.

Aesthetically and functionally refined, it features a matching checked headstock, Guyker locking tuners, roller string guides, and a bone nut for enhanced tuning stability. The hardware includes a red tortoise sparkle pickguard, brushed aluminium pickup surrounds and control plate, and a Sulis Bifrost top-mounted aluminium bridge.

Electronics are powered by a Zona 23 neck pickup (outer coil: Alnico 5, inner: Alnico 3) and Zona 35 bridge pickup (inner: Alnico 3, outer: Alnico 5), offering rich tonal versatility. The circuit includes 1 volume, 1 tone (250k) with an Orange Drop cap, a 3-way toggle, and Zona’s Full Switching Circuit via two discreet micro switches, all wired with a vintage loom and Switchcraft socket. Finished with a Zona aluminium neck plate and vintage NOS stereo-style knobs, this guitar is as bold in tone as it is in design—made for players who want something truly unique.
